The taxi from Cracow airport was a Merc saloon, very clean and tidy with tan leather seats.................
The taxi from the hotel in Krakow was a Seat Alhambra, also very clean and tidy...............with aircon. Nice on a hot Friday.
Both taxi drivers were well presented, helpful (suitcases, etc) and polite.

Good evening, I just thought it only fair to pass on a comment about the service that my friends and I received on our arrival at Krakow airport. What can I say but excellent, when we entered the arrival area the driver, Paul, was waiting for us with a smile and a placard (bearing my name), he was efficient at his job, the vehicle was absolutely spotless, he helped us with our luggage when he picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel, and when it was time to leave, once again there he was, waiting patiently outside the hotel, with a greeting he helped with the luggage, on and off and shook our hands as we left, he asked if we enjoyed our stay and would we return? which by the way we hope to.We would not hesitate in using and, of course, recommending your company. Regards, Ian Hanson

Krakow information
Kraków came through WWII unscathed and has therefore retained a wealth of old architecture from different periods; the tallest structures dominating Kraków's skyline are the spires of old churches. It's a city alive with character and soul.Ringed by parkland, the Old Town is both charming and compact. The Main Market Sq is flanked by historic buildings, museums and churches. St Adalbert's Church is one of the oldest, dating back to the 10th century. And the museum of museums, Czartoryski Museum, exhibits a fascinating and impressive collection of European art.
When To Go
The best months to visit are from April to October with May being the loveliest month of the year in Krakow. Advance booking during these peak tourist times is recommended, even though there is an ever-increasing supply of accommodation options. If it's festivals you're after, July is a great month to visit - anything and everything from street theatre to jazz. If you miss out on July's festivities, not to worry, Kraków has one of the richest cycles of annual events in Poland.
