"I just wished to say thankyou for providing an excellent taxi service on our recent holiday to Malta. We were very impressed with the courteous and efficient service provided and enjoyed the drive in the luxurious cars provided. Everything went without a hitch and we felt it was very good value for money. A great start to our holiday in Malta.
Thank you
Clare and Dave Cheetham"
"Dear Mark - Just a few lines to say a really big THANK YOU to you for kindly arranging our Malta Airport pick-up last Friday and the Sightseeing Tour for us yesterday. The Sightseeing Tour was brilliant - Joseph our Driver was polite, courteous and professional at all times and my Husband and I had a very memorable day and were blessed with absolutely perfect weather.
We really did enjoy our weekend - which was a THANK YOU to my Husband for all the help and support he has given to my 87 year old Mother in recent months. He was totally shocked and ecstatic when he discovered (at Gatwick Airport!) we were flying to Malta - as it is 11 years since we last visited the Island and it is one of his favourite places. My only little disappointment was the fact that it clashed with the elections and therefore Valletta was a Dead City yesterday!
Once again THANK YOU - we arrived safely back in storm battered Britain at 00.20 am this morning! Janet Mundy"
Overview of the Maltese Islands
Megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso's Cave – The Maltese Islands are positively mythic. The narrow meandering streets of their towns and villages are crowded with Renaissance cathedrals and Baroque palaces. As the countryside is dotted with the oldest known human structures in the world, the Islands have rightly been described as an open-air museum.
The Maltese archipelago lies virtually at the centre of the Mediterranean, with Malta 93km south of Sicily and 288km north of Africa. The archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino with a total population of 400,000 inhabitants over an area of 316sq km and a coastline of 196.8km (not including 56.01 km for the island of Gozo).
Malta is the largest island and the cultural, commercial and administrative centre. Gozo is the second largest island and is more rural, characterised by fishing, tourism, crafts and agriculture while Comino is largely uninhabited.
With superbly sunny weather, expansive beaches, a thriving nightlife and 7,000 years of intriguing history, there is a great deal to see and do. With a little help from any guidebook, captivating places of interest are immediately identified – the world famous Hypogeum selected as a place of World Heritage by UNESCO, prehistoric temples and grand palaces are but a few.
The long relationship between the Islanders and the various nationalities that occupied Malta over the centuries has created a marriage of styles and traditions, giving the Islands a fascinating eclectic culture.

Bathing is safe anywhere around the islands; there are no tides. Sea temperatures average 22.8.C in summer. Geography: the Maltese archipelago consists of 3 inhabited islands, Malta, Gozo and Comino, together with other smaller uninhabited islands, Filfla and St Paul’s islands.
Malta lies in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea just 93 km south of Sicily and 230 km north of North Africa. The total area of the inhabited islands is 316 sqm (Malta 246, Gozo 67 and Comino 2.7).
The longest distance in Malta from southeast to northwest is 27 km and its widest point in an east-west direction measures 14.5 km.
Malta is characterised by rocky and sandy beaches (the latter at the northern part) and low hills with terraced fields on the slopes. On the other hand Gozo has a much greener countryside characterised by flat topped hills and cliffs. We also find various steep valleys and bays. In Gozo we find fewer sandy beaches.

Beautiful Malta lies in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the baroque capital of Valletta, once home to the Knights of St. John.
The city has a stunning waterfront and the Grand Harbour is a natural deep harbour. Medieval Mdina is famous for glass and pottery and Rabat has grottos and underground WWII shelters dug out of the limestone.
