Definitions
In these terms and conditions of business the following words and expressions have the meanings set out below, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • 'Contract' means the contract between you and us upon these Terms;
  • 'Data' means information of any kind, however presented whether comprising words, numbers, graphs, maps, pictures, sketches or otherwise in any other form and whether or not our property which is supplied or made available by us under this Contract.
  • 'You' means you the Client
  • 'Us' means HotelRaider

Parties
These terms and conditions are made between HotelRaider and whosoever shall use this website ("the Client").

Use of Site
The Client may only use the website to make legitimate enquiries or bookings and hereby undertakes not to make any speculative, false or fraudulent booking or any booking in anticipation of demand. The Client also undertakes to provide correct and accurate e-mail, postal and/or other contact details to HotelRaider and acknowledges that HotelRaider may use these details to contact the Client in the event that this should prove necessary.

Making a Booking
A legally binding booking shall only exist when the required details are inputted on the relevant web-page by the Client and when the booking is confirmed by the Client clicking the "Confirm" button on the appropriate web-page. The Client acknowledges that he/she understands that by clicking on the said "Confirm" button, he/she is authorising HotelRaider to make the booking and to forward his/her credit card to the hotel specified on the Booking form.

The Client will provide a single named individual with overall responsibility for the ongoing relationship between you and HotelRaider. HotelRaider will take instructions from this individual and the Client agrees to be bound by the decisions of this individual. All care must be taken by the Client to ensure that the information provided in the enquiry form is correct. It is the Client's responsibility to advise HotelRaider if an error in the email address was submitted on the enquiry form or any other correspondence. HotelRaider takes no responsibility for any incorrect information submitted.

Hotel unavailability
HotelRaider intends to provide the Client with all the services that the Client request from HotelRaider. In exceptional cases, when it is not possible to confirm your reservation due to overbooking or other circumstances, HotelRaider will endeavour to offer the Client an alternative hotel of comparable price and standards. If this occurs, HotelRaider will contact the Client via e-mail and request the Client's authorisation to proceed with the new booking.

Accuracy of Information
Hotel: HotelRaider and its suppliers have taken reasonable care to ensure that the content of the web site including all hotel information and listings are accurate. The hotel information and listings are compiled from information provided by the hotels that are listed. HotelRaider publishes such information in good faith. The Client acknowledges and accepts that HotelRaider cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in such information, nor can liability be accepted for changes to facilities which are not notified to HotelRaider by the hotel in question. The Client also acknowledges that: - (A) while HotelRaider endeavours to keep accurate and up-to-date all information contained on this website, HotelRaider cannot be responsible for errors, omissions or misleading information contained in the hotel listings or information. (B) The hotel listings or information may include errors.

Car-Parking
The Client acknowledges that the inclusion in the hotel's facilities of car parking means that a provision is made by the hotel for car parking. The Client acknowledges that the availability and cost of the car parking is determined by the individual hotel. It is the responsibility of the Client to check the availability and cost of the car parking provided by each hotel through HotelRaider.

Quality of Accommodation
The Client acknowledges that the availability of the facilities and features listed for each hotel are under the direct control of the hotel and as such HotelRaider cannot be held responsible if those facilities or features are not made available to the client during period of the Client's booking. If a facility or feature is of particular importance to the Client (in particular seasonal facilities such as outdoor swimming pools and air conditioning), then the Client should check with HotelRaider that this facility or feature will be available during the Client's dates of stay.

The Client acknowledges that star ratings may vary in quality from country to country and cannot be relied on to identify the quality of the accommodation. The Client acknowledges that the star rating is merely a general outline and may not apply in each case. Similarly, the Client acknowledges that the type of rooms provided by a hotel (i.e. single, double, twin, and triple) may also vary from country to country

Hotel Room Types
It is the Client's responsibility when making a booking to ensure that the correct room type for your needs is booked. All details of the room types and the number of people that can be accommodated in the room are available on the search screen and should be double checked on your email confirmation. Room types available are as follows: -

  • Single Room - Contains one single bed; suitable for one person.
  • Twin Room - Contains two single beds; suitable for two people.
  • Double Room - Contains one double bed or two single beds made up as a double; suitable for two people.
  • Twin / Double- for sole use - Contains two single beds or one double bed; suitable for one person.
  • Triple Room - Contains twin or double bed + extra bed or 2 double beds. Most hotels do not have one full size bed for each guest; suitable for 3 people.
  • Child Bed - often a roll away bed; suitable for a child under the age of 12 years.
  • Cot - cradle or cribs suitable for a child under the age of 2 years.

*Please be aware that room type and size will vary from country to country .

*Please note that children rates displayed on HotelRaider's website are for ONE child only in ONE room. Additional charges may be incurred for nor accurately stating the number of children staying at the hotel.

Cancellations and Amendments

All cancellations must be made directly with HotelRaider and NOT the hotel. This can be done via email or telephone. You will receive a confirmation email back regarding your cancellation – please note that if this is not received then the cancellation has not been made.

 

Our cancellation policy is as follows (unless otherwise specified on your booking confirmation): -

  • 24 hour cooling off period after confirmation will apply to bookings made more than 72 hours in advance of your arrival at the hotel.
  • Cancellations must be made no less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. Failure to do so will result in a charge of one night's stay to your credit card. This includes failure to arrive at the hotel ('no-shows').
  • All amendment requests must be received in writing and any made within 72 hours of arrival time (being 5pm on date of arrival) are subject to a £20 amendment fee.
  • If you are going to arrive after 19h00 at the hotel, it is advisable to call HotelRaider (the phone number is indicated on your email confirmation) and we will let them know.
Airport Transfer - If you don´t cancel your transfer order two hours before the arrival we will charge the full cost for the transfer to your credit card.

Prices and Payments
The Client pays on arrival or departure at the hotel (depending on individual hotel). HotelRaider does not charge a deposit although the hotel may request a deposit for Group bookings. Credit card details are taken only as a guarantee for the reservation. Please note that if the Client provides an American Express or Diners Club credit card for payment of your booking, the transaction may be charged in a different currency to the one in which the Client's booking rates were quoted. The cost of the Client's booking is converted using HotelRaider's bank's exchange rates on the day of the transaction. The final hotel cost may vary from the booked amount due to local flunctuations in currency and HotelRaider are not liable for any difference in rates incurred.

The rates provided for the Client on this website are available only through HotelRaider. Please do not call the hotel direct, as they may not have the same rates in their reservation system.

*Please print off your Booking Form and take to the hotel on arrival. 

Booking Process
HotelRaider encourages all our clients to submit their credit card information via HotelRaider's secure online credit card form. The Client may also fax through the details to the number shown on HotelRaider's order form or telephone the details through to HotelRaider directly.

If the hotel of the Client's choice is available for the dates required the Client will be emailed a confirmation and then be required to submit a booking on the booking form. The Client will then be emailed a booking confirmation form that the booking has been made along with a unique booking reference number.

Confirmations
Once the Client has clicked the "Confirm" button on the booking form, the Client must print an electronic copy of the booking confirmation form showing the details of the booking. This confirmation forms the basis of the contract for the booking. The Client acknowledges that it is his/her responsibility to print and check the confirmation and ensure that all of the details contained in it are correct as accommodation can only be provided in accordance with the details outlined in the confirmation.

Where the details on the booking confirmation form are not correct, the Client should contact HotelRaider at info@hotelraider.com

Where possible, the written complaint to HotelRaider should be supported by photographs or other written/visible proof of the complaint. 

Disclaimer
Hotel Raider makes best efforts to ensure that all the information that appears on its website is accurate. However, HotelRaider does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions and reserves the right to change the information published at any time and without notice. 

Force Majeure
HotelRaider shall not be liable to the Client or be deemed to be in breach of the Terms by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform any of our obligations in relation to the provision of a booking if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond HotelRaider's reasonable control. The term "Force Majeure" includes but is not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, fire and any other destruction of any accommodation booked, riots, acts of war or civil commotion, exercise of legislative, municipal, military or other authority, strikes, industrial action or any other reason beyond the control of HotelRaider. 

Entire Agreement
These terms contain the entire agreement between HotelRaider and the Client and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter and may not be amended or modified unless expressly agreed by HotelRaider in writing. 

Warranties, Representation, Conditions and Terms
All terms, representations, conditions and warranties (whether implied of made expressly) relating to this site and any connected services to the extent permitted by any applicable law and the English Courts are hereby excluded. 

Severability
These terms shall be deemed severable. In the event that any provision is determined to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall nonetheless be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

Law & Jurisdiction
This Contract is governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law. The parties agree that the English courts will have non - exclusive jurisdiction to hear any disputes relating to this Contract.

Amendment to These Terms and Conditions
HotelRaider reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
